Varsity Softball Coach
Hannah DeMore

Coach DeMore is in her fourth year of teaching and coaching at
Briarwood Academy. A 2003 graduate of Briarwood, she participated in the softball, basketball, and track programs. She
was a member of the 2001 and 2002 AA State Champion Track Teams. Coach DeMore was also a Varsity Buccanette all
four years of high school. In addition to coaching, she is teaching mathematics at the high school level.
Coach DeMore graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She is a
native of Washington, GA and moved to Thomson in 1999. She is married to Donny DeMore, and they have one son, Banks. Her parents are Joe and Vicki Batrous of Thomson. Coach DeMore
also has a brother, Joseph, who is a 2007 graduate from Briarwood Academy and attends the University
of Georgia.
