Mrs. Janet Dearstone
Mrs. Janet Dearstone brings over 34 years of teaching experience to her students. This will be her 5th year at Briarwood. She earned her BA at the University of Georgia and her Masters of Education at Augusta State University. Mrs. Dearstone teaches 6th, 7th, 9th, and 10th grade English, and 11th grade SAT. She is also in charge of Pen and Sword, Briarwood’s literary magazine.
